Landscape and Travel Photography Tours
Tour Offerings 2017/18
What is it all about?
My photography tours take you to unique and amazing locations. They include transport during the trip, accommodation, breakfast, dinner, and full tuition (theory of photography, practice sessions, post-production) from an expert leader.
You don’t need to be an experienced photographer. I will help you to improve your technique, inspire you to new creative heights, and make sure that you have a really good time.
On each trip, there are people from all over the world, from different backgrounds, and with different levels of experience in photography. Some come to just enjoy a week away from the office in some beautiful location; others are there to improve their photography skills. Each person has his or her own aim. It's an open friendly environment, and you will find that, as well as making friends and sharing your enthusiasm for photography, you'll learn from others, and will more than likely have a few things to pass on to others too.
How can you expect to improve your photography?
There is one big step you can take in photography: learning how to compose a picture. Looking at the scene in front of you and knowing how to balance out the different elements. I’ll show you how to develop your awareness, and how to find what really inspires you. Everyone sees things differently. Focusing on what you find interesting and motivating in a scene, is the key to improve the impact your images have.
I intentionally keep the group size small. With guaranteed no more than 4 people, I have the time to focus on the individual participants. Another perk is, that you won’t have to use your elbows to secure a good shooting spot. And last but not least, travelling in a small group improves group dynamic.
Taking into account weather conditions, sunrise and sunset times, you’ll get an early start for the sunrise shoot. We’ll head back to the hotel for breakfast and then spend the rest of the morning and afternoon in the field, shooting and scouting. Box lunches will be provided. If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll stay indoors for a theory workshop. Before dinner, a sunset shoot will be “on the menu”. After dinner, you’ll have the choice between reviewing the day’s photographic output, theory lessons, or, just calling it an early night!
